Pocket Play is a party game app for TVs, where players use their phones as controllers. This policy explains what information Pocket Play handles and why.
What we collect
- If you sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile picture. We receive nothing else from your Google account.
- If you sign in with email: your email address, and the one-time code we send to confirm it.
- If you subscribe to Premium: whether your subscription is active and when it renews. Payment is handled by the Amazon Appstore; we never see your card details.
- If you play as a guest: nothing. No account is created.
Your phones
Phones connect to the TV over your home Wi-Fi. To set up that connection, the phone and the TV exchange connection details through our servers for a moment; these are not stored. The names players type and everything sent while playing go directly between the phones and the TV, and stay there.
How we use it
Your name and picture show who is signed in on the TV. Your email address lets you sign in again on another TV. Your account identifies your Premium subscription so it works on every TV you sign in on.
Who processes it
We use Google Firebase to manage accounts, RevenueCat and the Amazon Appstore for subscriptions, Cloudflare to connect phones to the TV, and Amazon Web Services to host this website and the phone page. They process data only to provide these services to us.
Sharing
We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers. Pocket Play shows no ads.
Children
Pocket Play is a family game. An account is not needed to play the free games, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can sign out at any time from the avatar menu on the TV. To delete your account and its data, email us at support@pocketplay.club from the address you signed in with.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
